Whilst working in traditional interior design, and studying for a professional design diploma at KLC School of Design in London, Jo realised that customers often found it difficult to visualise their finished design based on 2D mood boards or conceptual descriptions. So she started to visualise designs in lifelike 3D instead to make design concepts easier to communicate, and found that there was usually instant buy-in from the customer when they saw their new space visualised in 3D.

Based on this, she saw an opportunity for an online design service which put 3D visualisation at the core of its service, and made accessing professional design support simple, fast and affordable for everybody regardless of budget or postcode. See Your Place was born in 2025, delivering a custom 3D design plus clickable personalised shopping list at a fixed price of £265 per room.

Jo has worked in professional interior design for over 5 years, and previously had a successful career in advertising and telecoms.

Georgie has worked in interior design for almost a decade, and brings a detailed knowledge of all aspects of professional interior design, having graduated in Advanced Interior Design from East Berkshire College, and studied further at the world-renowned KLC school of design in London.

Georgie is a colour specialist, and is trained in colour psychology and interior design for wellbeing, which enables her to take the guesswork out of creating a successful colour palette, and design our customers’ spaces with an expert understanding of the effect of colour and light.

In 2020 Georgie founded May Interiors, a design consultancy, and she works across both the May Interiors and See Your Place brands

Her passion for visualising interiors began with retail merchandising roles at Space NK.
