Our top three designer-dupe IKEA lamps
A great lamp is a key element of any successful room design for its ability to punctuate a space and make an instant style statement, and IKEA lamps are a go-to for designer looks without the designer price tag. We were asked to share our IKEA lamp picks for Ideal Home magazine, and here are our top 3 designs:

Art deco table lamp
The AKTERSPRING table lamp’s unusual curved deco detail and milky opal glass and brass finish, create a big impact on a budget. Ideal for a hotel-style bedroom room scheme, or a in a study to diffuse a gentle light, it’s simple, stylish and modern and a steal at £35
Classic single-arm floor lamp
Pewter is having a moment and the classic lines of the ANKARSPEL floor lamp will fit right into any period or modern home scheme, and look a lot more expensive than it is at just £55. Use this grouped with an armchair or sofa and side table, to create a reading nook or light up a dark corner.
Pleated designer-inspired table lamp
The KUDDLAVA table lamp is a 10/10 in our opinion. Its pleated shade and base give it a a very on-trend silhouette that cheats the look of much more expensive brands. It wouldn’t look out of place in a soho members club or a boutique hotel lobby. This design would add the perfect amount of texture and personality on a living room sideboard, or hall console table. And the price makes it our clear winner at just £9!

Which is your favourite? Whatever your style it’s worth checking out IKEA next time you’re looking for lighting that feels a bit different, or if you want to change up your space without blowing your budget.
